I booked our reservation this morning!

We will be enjoying the Royal Lahaina experience for 6 nights. That means that we get an ocean view room, complimentary breakfast daily, a Luau for two, and a sunset coctail and dinner cruise! Wow, how cool is that!

I am hoping for an upgraded room to a deluxe but we will have to wait and see how it goes. Even if we dont upgrade, this is a great room!

I am sooo happy I cant see straight!

I am so excited I am shaking! I booked our flights this morning! We arrive in Maui on Sept 12 at 3:25pm and leave on Sept 18th at 4:50 pm.

OMG! This is really happening!

We picked up our rings on Sunday, May 12th. Take a look at our photo album. Aren't they gorgeous!

We've been engaged about 3 1/2 months and we finally went and picked out our rings tonight. Our first kiss was in the parking lot of Hulen Mall and it was after that kiss that I was convinced Wade was for me! Appropriately, we choose Kay jewelers in Hulen Mall for our selection. Our rings will be customized with a small ruby and 9/13/13 engraved in the shank. We are having a different stone put in my engagement ring and having it sized and having his sized so they wont be ready till about May 9th so I dont have pictures yet.

A great big shout out and thank you to Ben and Victoria at Kay Jewelers for all their help, suggestions, and patience in making our selections! Ya'll were a pleasure to do business with and you really made us feel like you wanted to be sure that we got exactly what we wanted and that our jewelry is unique and will bring us pride for the rest of our lives!

Since not all of our friends and family can join us in Hawaii, we will be having a celebration here locally. In order to have all my children present, we will be having it the weekend prior to the wedding rather than after; thus the name "preception".

Our friends Barbara and Craig Bellis have graciously offered their home for our celebration. We will have light refreshments, cake, and champagne. Maybe I can talk him into that one dance he has promised me.

Time is flying by and I am getting so excited! I can not wait to be Mrs. Wade Bandy!

We knew from the beginning that we wanted a casual and comfortable wedding. We have selected a simple spaghetti strap dress with Hawaiin flowers down one side for my wedding dress. There will be a cascading bouquet with orange, red, yellow, and green. So dress and flowers selected!

We have selected a minister that is Hawaiian and presents the look, the chant, and the conch shell.

Next decision is guitar or ukulele? Hawaiian Wedding Song or personal selection?

We officially have a wedding planner starting all the arrangements for our wedding and now have a place to keep everybody updated on the status of the wedding/honeymoon.

We will be posting a photo soon and then will be posting more as the journey continues and throughout the trip.
