Kayla and I went dress shopping yesterday.  I wanted to keep it just her and I to begin with because she is the most important person in my life and has been forever!!  She knows me and she will keep me straight and from jumping.  We had a nice lunch and then off to alfred angelo's in Grand Rapids. 

I can't believe how anxious I was!  I actually felt very sick for a bit but the bridal consultant made it fun and so personal that all of my anxiety washed away.  I NEVER guessed I would find my dress(after all the wedding is 2 1/2 years away)!  I spend Sunday mornings watching the say yes to the dress show and laugh everytime the ladies cry when they find the dress...well, i tried on a ton of dresses but the one I bought not only made me feel AMAZING but I CRIED LIKE  A BABY!  So apologies to all of those ladies before me on tv...I shall never laugh at you again!

Kayla tried on some bridesmaid dresses to get a feel for what might look good with my dress and on the bridal party.  She is so beautifu and looked amazing.  We know what colors now...she wil wear the color spice and the girls will wear the color lipstick (like raspberry).  the colors look great together and pulls out the small detail on my dress. 

I want to send out a photo to everyone right now of me in my dress but Steve says NO...he doesn't want to risk anyone showing him before he sees me on our wedding day!  As long as the dress is boobie-licious and fitted he says he will love it!! LOL, men and their one track minds!

Engaged on March 12, 2012...our third anniversary!  The best guy and the most amazing ring!!! Love you honey  Now the wedding planning begins and I am thrilled with the anticipation of it all

Steve and I had our first date, after weeks of me wearing him down, on March 12, 2009!  We have been through our share of life's changes and they have only provided us a strong foundation to build on.  We moved in together in April of 2011 and life has been wonderful ever since.  We got engaged on our third anniversary, March 12, 2012!  He bought me the perfect ring and I still love showing it off!  We set out wedding date for April 10, 2015. 

Steve is so laid back and I am so, well lets say NOT, that it works out perfectly.  He pulls me back to slow me down and I drag him along to speed him up! LOL  I have never been with someone who makes me feel like it is okay to laugh at myself, be myself, and love myself.  We can be out kayaking, bowling, working on house, partying with friends or just sitting on the couch not talking and it is great!  The fun times and the quiet times are all good.  Even the times we aren't talking at all are comfortable. 

He loves to cook and I love to let him!  he does a darn good job too!  He even cleans the house and cares for our pets!! What a guy! Oh, did I mention he puts up with me too! Well, that one works both ways!!
